Project C.A.S.H. (Creating a Savings Habit) is all about money – it’s about CASH. Having it in your pocket, in your bank, letting it build rather than seeing it disappear. It’s about being smart with your money, becoming informed about the real cost of credit. And it’s about planning for your future – making your dreams come true.
Project C.A.S.H. involves UNH students through the Peer Education program at Health Services. UNH students are trained to assist other students with money and credit issues. We provide workshops, fact sheets, interactive money games, answers to your question, and even one-on-one assistance with staff or a Peer Educator as needed.
Many colleges and universities across the country are establishing money management or financial literacy programs for their students. Project C.A.S.H. at UNH was one of the first!
Project CASH is a partnership between UNH Health Services (training and coordination of Peer Educators), UNH Cooperative Extension (development of money management resources including this website), and the UNH Parents Association (provided initial funding for this project).
